Pricing chains now apply channel rates once at the end
A pricing chain now raises the final price for its sales channel exactly once, at the end of the chain, so channel markups are applied consistently and never doubled.
Previously, channel-level rate adjustments could be applied at multiple steps inside a pricing chain, leading to compounding markups. The chain now applies the sales-channel rate a single time after all other steps complete.
- Channel markups are applied once, at the end of the chain, regardless of how many pricing steps the chain contains
- Prices returned from multi-step chains are consistent with prices returned from single-step calls for the same channel
- The change is reflected in the API response for chain price calls
