A plain note on how we price the pricer
The pricing page can now explain that our base rate is set by hand, that acting on a price changes what the next one learns from, and why the cheapest route is not always the one to pick.
The pricing page gets a short "How we price the pricer" note.
- The rate per unit is a number we set by hand, not one learned from data.
- Learned prices come from your own quotes and their outcomes, so acting on a price moves the market the next one is learned from.
- The cheapest strategy picks the lowest billed rate per call, which says nothing about whether the price that comes back is a good one.
