Usage and receipts show what is really charged

Calls you have not paid for per call, by day pass or from your balance are not charged, and no invoice is sent for them. Usage now shows their cost as unbilled instead of billable, and their receipts say not charged.

Usage reported every unpaid call as billable and each receipt said it was billed to the workspace, though no invoice ever came. An owner reading it thought they owed money.

  • GET /api/usage reports billable_cost and current_period_cost as 0, shows the list price of unpaid calls as unbilled_cost, and explains how calls are charged.
  • Receipts for those calls say none (Not charged) instead of invoice, in JSON, CSV and the printable statement.
  • The Total cost card on the usage page lists its parts on separate lines that add up to the total, with a link to pay from your balance.
  • To pay for every call from your balance, turn on balance billing.
