Link your own Stripe account and let approved prices reach checkout
Shops that take payment through their own Stripe account can link it as a store. Last Price reads your products and completed checkouts, and an approved price becomes the product's default price in Stripe.
Many new shops have no store platform at all: a site, often made by an AI site builder, and a Stripe account. Until now Last Price could suggest a price for those shops but could not reach their checkout.
- Link the account with a restricted key from your Stripe dashboard. A catalog sync reads every active product that has a fixed price, including monthly plans.
- An orders sync reads your completed checkouts and payment links, so Last Price learns what sold at which price. Who bought is kept only as a one-way hash.
- When you approve a price, it becomes the product's default price. Stripe prices cannot be edited, so a new one is created with the same currency, billing interval, tax setting and lookup key, named "Set by Last Price".
- The old price stays active so payment links and subscriptions keep working, unless you choose to archive it.
- The documentation has a short prompt to give your AI site builder so the checkout always charges the current default price.
