Your assistant can show what an item looks like while you describe it
A new MCP tool, describe_item_so_far, turns the words someone has said so far into a short sheet about the item, with pictures of that kind of thing, so ChatGPT or Claude can check it has the right item before pricing it.
The same live sheet the mobile app shows as you type is now there for AI assistants.
- As you describe it.
describe_item_so_fartakes the words so far, even mid-word, and returns the likely name, brand, model and category, a headline, a few details and how sure it is. - Pictures to check against. Up to six freely licensed pictures of that kind of item, each with who made it and its license, so the person can say "yes, that one".
- Knows when it is sure. Once it is sure enough, the answer says so, and the assistant can move on to pricing it with
price_from_capture. - Never a price. It only describes the item. Pricing stays with
price_from_capture. - Packages. The LangChain, AI SDK and Agents SDK packages get the tool, and the client gets
describeItemSoFar.
