Link your Algolia product index and see shopper demand per product

Stores whose search runs on Algolia can link the product index as a connector. Each synced product comes with its price and what shoppers did with it over the last 30 days: searches, clicks, add-to-carts, purchases and revenue.

The Algolia connector documentation, with the request that links an index and the shopper demand each synced product carries.

A store's search already sees how shoppers respond to each product at its current price. Until now none of that reached Last Price: a catalog came in with prices only.

  • Link an Algolia index with an app id, an API key and the index name. A catalog sync reads every product record with its price, SKU, barcode and brand.
  • Each product also carries its shopper demand for the last 30 days (or the window you choose): how often it came up in searches, clicks, add-to-carts, purchases, the rate of each and the revenue. Your plan needs Algolia's analytics for this; without it the catalog still syncs.
  • Approved prices stay in your store unless you turn on write-back to the index, so shoppers never see a price checkout does not charge.
  • Shopping agents built in Algolia Agent Studio can add Last Price as an MCP tool and ask it for a price.
