Check purchases against declared intent limits

Attach merchant, amount, currency and expiry constraints to a purchase check or spend session. Network intent verification is not yet available.

check_purchase and open_spend_session accept a declared intent with its identifier and purchase constraints.

  • Checks compare merchant, maximum amount, currency and expiry with the requested purchase.
  • Holds and confirmed spending under an intent ID count against its available amount.
  • GET /api/spend-policy/intents/{id} reports held, spent and remaining amounts.

Last Price does not currently verify the network token or mandate. Evidence is stored as a hash and verified remains false. These checks enforce the supplied constraints; they do not establish that a buyer or network authenticated the intent.
