Publish a Personal Agent Protocol file for personal agents

Last Price writes the Personal Agent Protocol file personal agents read to learn what you let them do, and checks it once you publish it on your own domain.

The API reference for saving the agent protocol file settings and checking the published file.

The Personal Agent Protocol is a new draft standard for how a personal agent, such as a shopping assistant acting for one person, finds out what a company lets it do. The company publishes one file on its own domain. Last Price writes that file for you.

  • Save your name and domain. Send them with PUT /api/agent-protocol or the MCP tool set_agent_protocol. The answer is the file to publish and the address to publish it at.
  • Publish it on your domain. Put the file at /.well-known/poppy.json, over HTTPS, exactly as given. It points personal agents at your prices, quotes, offers and checkout through Last Price.
  • Check it. Call POST /api/agent-protocol/verify or verify_agent_protocol. Last Price fetches the file and, when it matches, verifies the domain for your workspace. When it does not, the answer says what to fix.
  • Read it any time. GET /api/agent-protocol or get_agent_protocol shows the file, whether the domain is verified and why the last check failed.
