Negotiate offers over MCP

Seller agents can configure offers, and buyer agents can negotiate through public tools using a buyer token.

The API reference for saving a product open to offers, which the new set_offer_product tool calls.

MCP supports both sides of an offer negotiation.

  • Sellers can enable offers, configure eligible products and limits, preview an offer and read negotiations using the relevant workspace permissions.
  • Buyers can read public terms and make an offer without an account. Keep the returned buyer_token to continue or read that negotiation.
  • accept_counter closes the negotiation at the counter-offer's price. Call it only when authorized to accept that deal.

An accepted negotiation records an agreed price; the seller must apply that price in its checkout.
