Retry pricing requests with an idempotency key

A matching idempotency key can replay a completed request or resume the failed items of a partial batch.

Send the same Idempotency-Key and body when retrying supported compute, router or batch requests.

  • While the stored result remains valid, a completed request is replayed without computing or charging it again.
  • For a partial batch, successful items are reused and failed items may run and be charged again. Idempotent-Resumed reports the resumed work.
  • A concurrent request for the same operation returns a conflict with retry guidance.
  • Reusing a key with a different body is a conflict. Use a new key for a new logical request.

Replayed or in-progress duplicates do not consume another free compute allowance. Idempotency records have a retention period; do not assume indefinite replay.
