Approve or reject held agent calls in the dashboard

A new Approvals screen lists the agent calls waiting for a person's sign off, with Approve and Reject buttons, and the approval link an API call returns now opens it.

Some calls are held until a person signs off. Until now the link such a call returned led nowhere, so the only way to decide was through the API.

  • The new Approvals page in the dashboard sidebar lists pending requests first, with a count beside its name. Decided ones (approved, rejected or expired) are on their own tab.
  • Each request shows the action, which agent or key asked, the method and path, the request body as readable fields, and when it was made and expires.
  • Approve and Reject decide it on the spot. A rejection can carry an optional reason for the requester.
  • The approval link in a held call's response opens that request directly, after sign in if needed. Links handed out before today keep working.

Approving does not run the call for the agent: it sends the same request again once the request shows as approved, and that call then goes through. One approval covers one call: sending it a third time is held again for a new decision. The held call's response now says this itself, with the call to check the approval and the call to send again. The API reference describes the steps under Approvals.

A request nobody decided within seven days now shows as expired everywhere, including when an agent checks it, and can no longer be approved or rejected. An approval link with a malformed id shows the request as not found instead of an error.
