Trace agent calls and keep their stated reason

Link hosted tool calls to your trace and read a brief caller-stated reason beside priced usage.

Hosted tool calls accept an optional trace context and a brief reason for the action. Priced calls keep that reason with their usage record. Open Agent call context on Usage, or read the optional fields through the usage-events tool. Read-only tools do not create priced events.

Reasons are capped and pattern-redacted, so leave out secrets and personal details. A trace id links calls; it does not prove identity or successful delivery to a tracing backend. Export and retention follow the deployment's existing configuration.
