MCP clients get the short tool list by default

/api/mcp/rpc now lists eight tools instead of over 300. search_tools finds any other tool and call_tool runs it; add ?profile=full for the whole list.

Connecting to https://api.last-price.ai/api/mcp/rpc with no profile now gives the short list that the registry entry already used: the six tools that reach a price, plus search_tools and call_tool. It costs about 5,000 tokens instead of about 135,000, and stays under the tool limits many clients set.

  • Nothing to change in your calls: every tool still answers when you call it by name.
  • Need the whole list? Add ?profile=full, or set LASTPRICE_TOOL_PROFILE=full for the local stdio server.
  • Every tool carries its annotations, on every list.
