Ask Last Price from a link, for assistants that can only browse
Assistants that can open a page but not send a request, such as Perplexity or ChatGPT search, can now get a real answer from Last Price: open last-price.ai/ask with the item and the price, and the page says whether the price is too high, too low or in line, with the seller prices it is based on.
A browsing assistant asked to "ask Last Price" could only describe an API call it could not make. Now it can open a page.
- Open
last-price.ai/ask?item=RTX 5090 32GB&price=5852¤cy=EUR&where=France: the page says whether the price is too high, too low or in line, and lists the seller pages it used. - Add
list_price=to compare with the maker's list price, side=sellingif you are the seller, andformat=textorformat=jsonfor other formats. - No key, no account and no model call. If no seller prices are found, the page says it could not judge the price.
- Prices written the European way, such as 5 852,33 €, are now read correctly on every seller page.
- llms.txt now says what Last Price is, so assistants no longer read "last price" as a stock's latest price.
