Put each product in a category and see how close it is to learning

Product categories groups your products into a short category tree, suggests a category from each product's name for you to confirm, and shows how many outcomes each category has toward the 30 an estimate needs.

Product categories in dark mode, with products grouped by area, suggested categories marked with a Confirm button, a progress bar per category, and the All categories tree below

Your products now sit in a shallow category tree: software, agent services, ecommerce goods, digital goods, professional services, connectivity and other, at most three levels deep, so you never pick from a long list.

  • Products come from the product ids your quotes send and from the items a connected store syncs
  • A category is suggested from keywords in each product's name and marked as suggested; one tap confirms it, or a two-step picker changes it
  • Each category shows how many outcomes its products have toward the 30 an estimate needs, with an inferred outcome counting half
  • All categories shows the whole tree, empty branches included, with each category's product count and progress; it opens one level at a time
  • Everything is your workspace's own: nothing is pooled with or shared with other workspaces
  • Agents and scripts use GET /api/product-categories and PUT /api/product-categories, or the MCP tools list_product_categories and set_product_category
