Marketplace functions pass a review before going public

A function now passes an automated review before other workspaces can route to it, and the endpoint of every external function is checked each hour, so you see why a listing stayed private and when an endpoint stops answering.

Turning a marketplace listing public now runs four checks on its function first:

  • Manifest: the function is active, named, has object schemas, and an external function has an HTTPS endpoint.
  • Sample call: one call with a fixed sample returns a usable price and confidence.
  • Price bounds: that price is between 0.1 and 10 times the sample's current price.
  • Latency: the call answers within 3 seconds.

If a check fails, the listing stays private and you get the reasons back. The Edit Listing dialog shows each check and why, with Run review to try again without publishing. Your own functions are never gated, and a listing that was already public keeps working as it is.

Every hour, the endpoint of each active external function gets the same sample request. The dialog shows whether it answered and how fast, with Probe now for an on demand check, and a failing endpoint counts toward the function's circuit breaker like any other failed call.

Agents can do the same with an API key: GET and POST /api/functions/{id}/review and /api/functions/{id}/health.
