Set price guardrails once for your whole workspace

Save a maximum change, a minimum margin, a never below cost rule and the optimizer's search range once, and every price your workspace is given respects them, whichever pricing function computes it.

API reference for saving a workspace's price guardrails

Limits on a price used to come only from each request's min_price and max_price, or a fixed range inside the default function. You can now set them once for the workspace.

  • PUT /api/price-guardrails saves the most a price may move from the current price, a minimum margin over metadata.unit_cost, whether a price may ever go below that cost, and the range the default optimizer searches when a call sends no minimum or maximum
  • They hold the result of every compute call, price router call, batch item, pay-per-call request and MCP compute_price call, whichever function prices it, and the alternatives returned too. They never change what a function prices from
  • When guardrails move a price, the response trace says which ones, and the explanation names them
  • GET /api/price-guardrails shows what is saved, and DELETE removes it
