A guide to giving your agent a wallet

A new docs page walks a person through setting up a dedicated wallet so their AI agent can pay for each price computation in USDC with x402, with no account.

The docs now have a page for the person who runs an agent: how to give it a wallet of its own so it can pay for price computation as it goes, with no account or API key.

It covers creating a dedicated wallet and keeping its key out of code and prompts, funding it with USDC on the right network, the payment flow step by step with a short client example, the cheaper prepaid balance and day pass, and what to do when a payment's outcome is unknown or its settlement is refused. The network, asset, price and receiving address on the page are always the ones the API is taking right now. While pay per call is off, the page says so.

The page is linked from the docs index, the agent sign-in guide and the pay per call section of llms.txt. Find it at https://last-price.ai/docs/agent-wallets. For help, write to support@last-price.ai.
